Popis (v anglickém jazyce):

In the centre of the image is the 15-metre dish of the Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope (SEST), backlit by the Moon. On the right, further away, is the dome of the ESO 3.6-metre telescope, at the highest point of the mountain. The reddish star on the top right of the image is Aldebaran, in the constellation of Taurus. The Pleiades star cluster is seen just to the right (2 o'clock position) of SEST. There is an upside-down reflection of the sky and the horizon behind the photographer in the highly polished antenna dish.
